The Stiegl-Keller is located in the heart of Salzburg's Old Town and at the foot of the famous Salzburg landmark, the Hohensalzburg Fortress. You will reach our main entrance when you walk along the street to the fortress, just after the entrance to the fortress cable car.
The name Stiegl-Keller is misleading as “Keller” means cellar or basement ... in actual fact our restaurant is not located in the basement, but extends over several floors with a wonderful outdoor seating area. The view is breath-taking and probably contributes to the fact that the Stiegl-Keller is considered one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Salzburg.

Parking is available in the nearby Mönchsberg garage - from here you can reach us within a few minutes by foot via the Abbey of St. Peter, the cemetery of St. Peter and the cobblestone street to the fortress.
